A real challenge for tightrope walkers and budding climbers

High above Bürserberg at an altitude of 1,250 m, the Rona Alpe lies on the sunny Tschengla plateau. Located approx. 10 minutes from the walkers’ car park, guests to the Alpe can find a daily choice of fresh natural produce, which can also be purchased to take away.

The Brandnertal Bike Park offers downhill biking of all standards, from the easy, flowing Freeride route right up to the competition level Downhill run.  

It all began with the appearance of the Virgin Mary to a shepherd who was cured whilst bathing his injured foot in a spring. Soon thereafter a bath house was built, and the spot was christened the “red spring”.

Visit the barefoot trail on the inner Parpfienz Alpe in Brand. The starting point is accessible in just a few minutes with the Dorfbahn cable car. From the top station simply walk (still wearing your shoes) towards the Innere Parpfienz Alpe.
