The Laguz-Alpe is located in a small side valley southwest of the Großes Walsertal (not to be confused with the better-known Kleines Walsertal!). This destination is interesting as a detour on the trip over the Faschina-Joch or as an independent, small tour.

The Spullersee is an originally natural high mountain lake in Vorarlberg. It was dammed up between 1919 and 1925 by the Austrian Federal Railways on the occasion of the electrification of the Arlberg Railway and has since been used for energy generation.

A special feature of the Biosphärenpark Großes Walsertal is the extraordinary variety of plants on the "Hahnenkopf" in Faschina, which have developed due to the geological conditions in this area.
