The mountain lake can be comfortably reached on foot from the Fontanella Säge bus stop in about 30 minutes. The slightly ascending and descending, low-traffic, asphalted road (access by car only permitted for residents) leads past the houses of Garlitt and on to the Seewaldseetobel.

With a total length of 76 kilometers, the “Bregenzerache” offers many possibilities for those who love water sports. The different river sections provide a wide range of difficulty levels.

The starting point of the cave tour is the car park in Schönenbach. After a 30-minute leisurely hike on the Schönenbach circular path, we reach the turn-off to the cave. From here, it is now a short distance of 200 metres in altitude to overcome to the imposing entrance portal of the snail cave.

A belt of moorland with rare flora runs for several kilometres across the entire mountain ridge at an altitude of 1,000 metres to the north of the village of Sulzberg.
