The "Schollamoos" is located in the immediate vicinity of the centre of Alberschwende. In the past, peat was extracted from this moor. Today, a well-maintained walking path leads through the birch forests and the moor area.

Cave tour

The starting point of the cave tour is the car park in Schönenbach. After a 30-minute leisurely hike on the Schönenbach circular path, we reach the turn-off to the cave. From here, it is now a short distance of 200 metres in altitude to overcome to the imposing entrance portal of the snail cave.
