The museum, which is housed in a typical Bregenzerwald farmhouse from the 18th century, provides insights into the living style and circumstances in a region that continues to be characterised by timber architecture.

In the attic of the multi-purpose building Nr. 137 in Damüls a new highlight for children was installed - a more than 170 m² large indoor playground. The new "games paradise" will delight children and parents not only in bad weather!

In cooperation with the Nature Park School Lingenau and the association 60+, the municipality of Lingenau and the Nagelfluhkette Nature Park developed a concept for a "museum under the open sky".

This resulted in the Natur.Museum in Dörnelstraße (directly behind the church), Lingenau.

Above Schwarzenberg there is a small outdoor pool that packs a big punch - with fantastic views this is the sunniest and most peaceful spot around!

The mountain lake can be comfortably reached on foot from the Fontanella Säge bus stop in about 30 minutes. The slightly ascending and descending, low-traffic, asphalted road (access by car only permitted for residents) leads past the houses of Garlitt and on to the Seewaldseetobel.

With a total length of 76 kilometers, the “Bregenzerache” offers many possibilities for those who love water sports. The different river sections provide a wide range of difficulty levels.

Enjoy a game of golf in one of the loveliest regions of the Alps, and discover the hospitality of the Bregenzerwald. The hilly countryside and the numerous small tributaries of the Weissach meld perfectly with your game.

Along the Felder Trail, which leads from Hinterhopfreben to Schoppernau, panels with quotations from the work of Franz Michael Felder point out important aspects of his life.

Numerous stations on the path, a forest room, an upland moor and a natural area are part of this thematic trail through the Rotenberg forest in Lingenau.
