The Montafon mining museum in Silbertal is an outstanding example of family-friendly history education. All age groups can experience the exciting world of mining in this exhibition and get to know first-hand the mining ways of life of bygone days.

A real highlight for all the family, the Golm Alpine Coaster is a toboggan run in both summer and winter and can operate in most weather conditions.

The oldest parts of the building originate from the 15th century and the long corridors of the upper floors give us an idea of the architecture of the late Middle Ages. The urban flair of the building is the result of the boom of the mining period.

The widely known and popular Sonnenkopf ski resort is located at the foot of the famous Arlberg.

This hike takes you from the Hochjoch cable car mountain station through flowering alpine rose meadows to the Innerkapell alpine pasture (at 1,670 m), where, with a bit of luck, you can look over the dairyman's shoulder as he makes cheese. The way back is via the same route.

The untouched deep snow slopes in Gargellen are waiting for you. Snow crystals whirl in the fresh, clear air. The groomed pistes are ready for the first turns of the day! Gargellen is in motion.

The Montafon Tourism Museum in Gaschurn is located in an old early fair house and has existed since 1992. For 17 years, the history of tourism was presented here, but since 2009 the house has been reoriented.
