The Alberschwende - Brüggelekopf ski area is located in the Bregenzerwald. There are 2.5 km of slopes for skiing and snowboarding. 2 lifts transport the guests. The winter sports area lies at an altitude of 720 to 1,200 m.

The manageable ski area offers stress-free winter fun all winter long. Free travel on the slopes, fast progress on the lifts and the varied offer at moderate prices make Laterns a real pleasure for families.

The Bregenzerwald Cheese Centre is the central marketplace for the entire selection of local cheeses produced in the Bregenzerwald region. Its aim is to provide a direct outlet, open 365 days a year, where locals and guests alike can taste and buy the cheeses.

The Funworld in Hard is a superlative entertainment centre for young and old and includes several areas:

Hans Bäumler’s unique private collection encompasses over 100 masterpieces from artists as varied as Spitzweg, Waldmüller Monet, Renoir, Gauguin and Picasso; 130 years of art history presented in a pattern and with a compactness seldom found elsewhere.

14 state-of-the-art cable cars and ski lifts, plus 55 km of top quality ski runs through stunning mountain scenery ensure an unrivalled winter experience. Snow-making equipment on 80% of the runs guarantees more than enough of the white stuff.

The Klostertal Museum in Wald am Arlberg opened in 1994 and is housed in the former "Thöny-Hof". The eventful history of the estate can be traced back to its construction around the middle of the 17th century. The farm was inhabited and farmed until 1959.
