There’s just one thing you won’t encounter at the Strandbad Bregenz lake-shore swimming baths: boredom. Whether it’s jumping from the jetty into the lake, venturing on to the three-metre springboard or just sliding all day – it’s all possible here.

The shore feels boundless and the leisure pool is filled with Grander water so it’s possible to enjoy a calm or action-packed atmosphere as desired.

What’s special about the Walgaubad swimming baths is the 900-square-metre adventure pool with wave ball, the bay with swings and air bubbling up from the bottom, the large water hedgehog and the flow channel.

Even experienced practitioners will be thrilled by its special location as the course has chosen no less a garden than that of the historic Schattenburg Castle. A total of 18 different holes now challenge visitors with pyramids, bumps, loops and labyrinths in the castle gardens.

The Spullersee is an originally natural high mountain lake in Vorarlberg. It was dammed up between 1919 and 1925 by the Austrian Federal Railways on the occasion of the electrification of the Arlberg Railway and has since been used for energy generation.

Fun to the power of three. That means water activities in the adventure pool, splashing around in the toddlers’ area and doing 25-metre lengths in the sports pool at Waldbad Enz (forest swimming baths).

It’s not difficult to find the mini-golf course in Bregenz because it’s located directly on the lakeside promenade next to the Lake Stage and the Bregenz Festival Theatre. So it’s a place where visitors are able to enjoy mini golf and Lake Constance at the same time.

The Götzner open-air swimming pool in the Riebe has been ‘the place to go’ for a splash in summer for more than 50 years.

The Lochauer Strandbad (public bathing beach) is one of the most beautiful places to swim at Lake Constance. The building was designed by the architects Innauer and Matt in a modern timber construction and was completed in 2020.
