The mountain lake can be comfortably reached on foot from the Fontanella Säge bus stop in about 30 minutes. The slightly ascending and descending, low-traffic, asphalted road (access by car only permitted for residents) leads past the houses of Garlitt and on to the Seewaldseetobel.

The Lochauer Strandbad (public bathing beach) is one of the most beautiful places to swim at Lake Constance. The building was designed by the architects Innauer and Matt in a modern timber construction and was completed in 2020.

There are many favourite places along the shores of Lake Constance and one of them is the bathing area at the Wocherhafen. The harbour has long since gone, but the name has survived. The area today is a popular bathing spot with a parking lot, kiosk and public places to enjoy a barbecue.

The Bruggerloch is a bathing lake that’s three hectares in size, seven metres deep and conveniently located directly next to the cycle path. But parking spaces are scarce.

The Götzner open-air swimming pool in the Riebe has been ‘the place to go’ for a splash in summer for more than 50 years.

What’s special about the Walgaubad swimming baths is the 900-square-metre adventure pool with wave ball, the bay with swings and air bubbling up from the bottom, the large water hedgehog and the flow channel.
