On the estate of the Metzler family in Egg, visitors can see the production of natural cosmetics in a new building with a visitors' gallery in addition to the show barn where cows and goats live.

The Feldkirch Wildlife Park provides families with a wonderful insight into animals and the natural world. Marmots, eagles, ibex and countless other animals can be admired here in the Wildlife Park in Feldkirch. A playground also ensures lots of fun and enjoyment.

Since 1963 the Doppelmayr Company in Wolfurt has had a zoo, housing over 400 animals of over 70 different kinds.

14 state-of-the-art cable cars and ski lifts, plus 55 km of top quality ski runs through stunning mountain scenery ensure an unrivalled winter experience. Snow-making equipment on 80% of the runs guarantees more than enough of the white stuff.

The municipalities of Zwischenwasser, Sulz, Röthis and Rankweil offer an inexpensive opportunity to learn how to ski in the immediate vicinity with the Furx ski lifts. At two practice lifts, budding skiers can practise in peace, while advanced skiers can use the slopes at the T-bar lift.

The St. Gallen Abbey UNESCO World Heritage Site designation not only encompasses the world renowned Baroque hall in the abbey library and the imposing cathedral. It also includes the «miracles of our written heritage».
