The Montafon Tourism Museum in Gaschurn is located in an old early fair house and has existed since 1992. For 17 years, the history of tourism was presented here, but since 2009 the house has been reoriented.

Hopfengut No20 is located above the hills of the hop town of Tettnang and combines hop cultivation, brewery, museum, shop and restaurant under one roof.

The Kunstmuseum St. Gallen, with its attractive, temporary exhibitions of contemporary and modern art, enjoys international renown.

The imposing neo-baroque church building from 1914 with double towers and a mighty dome dominates the townscape and is also called the "Cathedral of the Western Allgäu" because of its size.

The Klostertal Museum in Wald am Arlberg opened in 1994 and is housed in the former "Thöny-Hof". The eventful history of the estate can be traced back to its construction around the middle of the 17th century. The farm was inhabited and farmed until 1959.

Anglers beware! If you have your fishing equipment with you, there is the possibility to buy day tickets (from 6:00-22:00) for fishing on the old Rhein. With the day ticket you can fish in the whole area 45 (Rhein 3 – Alter Rhein/Hohenemser Kurve), from Altach to Lustenau.

The Egg Museum was founded as a local history museum in 1904. It is the oldest valley museum in the state of Vorarlberg. In 1988 it was reopened after several years of storage of the inventory in the old elementary school. The collection focuses on the Bregenzerwald region.

Charming Biedermeier, lovingly preserved - this is how the house presents itself that belonged to the poet Annette von Droste-Hülshoff 175 years ago.

Curlews, black-tailed godwits, even corn crakes have found a home in the marsh that is the Lauteracher Ried. As have larks, stonechats and whinchats that have long since died out elsewhere.
