The Angelika Kauffmann Museum in Schwarzenberg is a typical Bregenzerwald house from the 16th century with modern showrooms.

On the estate of the Metzler family in Egg, visitors can see the production of natural cosmetics in a new building with a visitors' gallery in addition to the show barn where cows and goats live.

For half a century, the equipment of the shoemaker workshop of Karl Nachbauer (grandfather of the Schubertiade’s managing director Gerd Nachbauer) had been stowed away. Now it is on display in a small shoemaker museum, which takes up two rooms at Marktstraße 15.
