Ausflugsziele in Vorarlberg

This new rope suspension bridge stretches across the wild-romantic Höhenbachtal gorge and is the highest and longest freely accessible pedestrian suspension bridge in Austria!!! 

It’s said that the Nenzinger Himmel is ‘the only heaven on earth’. It’s mostly a picturesque hiking area where it seems as if time has stood still – pure idyll. It’s possible to hike to the Pfälzer Hütte or to take the circular route past the blue mountain lake to the Alpe Setsch.

The lakes that are the Paspels Seen, a favourite bathing spot for many locals, are to be found in Rankweil. Around 20 hectares of lake were created for recreation here – including swimming and angling.

Nature, herbs and their endless wealth have fascinated me for many years.
I pass on "old" and "new" knowledge during herbal walks and workshops.
In my herb workshop there are cooking events with chefs and cooking courses on various topics.

Curlews, black-tailed godwits, even corn crakes have found a home in the marsh that is the Lauteracher Ried. As have larks, stonechats and whinchats that have long since died out elsewhere.
