Over the millennia the water in the mountain streams has carved out a series of breathtaking gullies. The sport of canyoning permits these canyons to be observed from a unique perspective.

The starting point of the cave tour is the car park in Schönenbach. After a 30-minute leisurely hike on the Schönenbach circular path, we reach the turn-off to the cave. From here, it is now a short distance of 200 metres in altitude to overcome to the imposing entrance portal of the snail cave.

Rappenloch Gorge and Alploch Gorge - The Rappenloch Gorge and Alploch Gorge in Dornbirn are among the largest gorges in Central Europe. They were milled into the hard limestone by the flowing water of the Dornbirn Ach for 100,000 years.

With a total length of 76 kilometers, the “Bregenzerache” offers many possibilities for those who love water sports. The different river sections provide a wide range of difficulty levels.
