A real challenge for tightrope walkers and budding climbers

With an area of some 2,000 m2 and a climbing wall extending over 3,000 m2, the K1 climbing hall in Dornbirn offers challenges and fun for climbers of all abilities.

An experience for young and old alike

Enjoying an idyllic location between three mountain lakes on the Hochjoch, the via ferrata is ideal for climbing practice: warm up your muscles, familiarise yourself with climbing wall techniques and learn to judge your own ability.

The starting point of the cave tour is the car park in Schönenbach. After a 30-minute leisurely hike on the Schönenbach circular path, we reach the turn-off to the cave. From here, it is now a short distance of 200 metres in altitude to overcome to the imposing entrance portal of the snail cave.

With a total length of 76 kilometers, the “Bregenzerache” offers many possibilities for those who love water sports. The different river sections provide a wide range of difficulty levels.

Over the millennia the water in the mountain streams has carved out a series of breathtaking gullies. The sport of canyoning permits these canyons to be observed from a unique perspective.

The Steinblock bouldering hall in Dornbirn opened on 1 August. Bouldering - climbing at jumping height without a rope, but on thick mats - has become increasingly popular in recent years.

The Kobelwald Crystal Cave is located above the hamlet of Kobelwald near Oberriet in the St. Gallen Rhine Valley.
