The Vorarlberg Regional Museum – now known as the Vorarlberg Museum – was founded in 1857, making it one of the oldest museums in the Lake Constance area. Its collections are based on specifically Vorarlberg-orientated themes, whilst retaining national and international links where relevant.

The new jewel in the cultural crown of East Switzerland and Lake Constance is the museum located at St. Gallen airport in Altenrhein. Housing an unrivalled collection of planes and motor vehicles, the museum has a character all its own - visitors will be astounded!
