Experience Our Native Animals Up Close!

The Feldkirch Wildlife Park provides families with a wonderful insight into animals and the natural world. Marmots, eagles, ibex and countless other animals can be admired here in the Wildlife Park in Feldkirch. A playground also ensures lots of fun and enjoyment.

There’s no way that anyone can walk on water – but stand-up paddling comes pretty close. A SUP trip against the backdrop of Lake Constance is an unforgettable experience once you’ve got the hang of it.

The zoo of the firm of Doppelmayr in Wolfurt has been home to more than 400 animals from more than 70 species since 1963. The family-friendly facility is open all year round and visitors may enjoy an approximately hour-long walk there for free.

Curlews, black-tailed godwits, even corn crakes have found a home in the marsh that is the Lauteracher Ried. As have larks, stonechats and whinchats that have long since died out elsewhere.

Neuschwanstein was opened to the public in 1886, only seven weeks after the death of König Ludwig II. The unsociable king had built the castle to enable him to withdraw from the public eye – perversely, his hideaway has now become a major tourist attraction
