Several forest paths with a nature trail that are also suitable for prams lead through the Wildpark (Wildlife Park) on the Ardetzenberg in Feldkirch.

The Bregenzer Ach’s water travels almost 70 kilometres before it flows into Lake Constance. The closer it gets to the lake, the more quiet spots for sunbathing and wild bathing are to be found among the wooded valleys.

Affenberg Salem is Germany's most beautiful monkey forest. About 200 Barbary Macaques roam freely on a 20 hectare wooded area. It is great fun to watch the youngsters play. The stars are undoubtedly the baby macaques born during spring.

Neuschwanstein was opened to the public in 1886, only seven weeks after the death of König Ludwig II. The unsociable king had built the castle to enable him to withdraw from the public eye – perversely, his hideaway has now become a major tourist attraction

It’s enormous, the Üble Schlucht with its steep cliffs, gushing waterfalls and bizarre limestone rock formations through which the River Frutz forges its path.

Easy walking or hiking trail along the energy portals in Langenegg. At the end, the path still leads across the beautiful "Nord" nature reserve, a well-preserved moorland landscape with large areas of raised bog and fen.

The Feldkirch Wildlife Park provides families with a wonderful insight into animals and the natural world. Marmots, eagles, ibex and countless other animals can be admired here in the Wildlife Park in Feldkirch. A playground also ensures lots of fun and enjoyment.

It’s said that the Nenzinger Himmel is ‘the only heaven on earth’. It’s mostly a picturesque hiking area where it seems as if time has stood still – pure idyll. It’s possible to hike to the Pfälzer Hütte or to take the circular route past the blue mountain lake to the Alpe Setsch.

Visit the barefoot trail on the inner Parpfienz Alpe in Brand. The starting point is accessible in just a few minutes with the Dorfbahn cable car. From the top station simply walk (still wearing your shoes) towards the Innere Parpfienz Alpe.
