The "Schollamoos" is located in the immediate vicinity of the centre of Alberschwende. In the past, peat was extracted from this moor. Today, a well-maintained walking path leads through the birch forests and the moor area. 

The Walter zoo is guaranteed to delight visitors of all ages. Over 900 animals and 130 different species make a trip here a very special experience for the whole family!

The Rappenloch and Alploch gorges are among the largest gorges in Central Europe.

Since 1963 the Doppelmayr Company in Wolfurt has had a zoo, housing over 400 animals of over 70 different kinds.

This charming inflatable water park has been located at the lakeside lido in Hard for many years. Fun is guaranteed here, where kids can climb, jump and slide to their heart’s content on the inflatable elements.

The Waldsee lake with its idyllic location, only a few minutes from the city centre, invites you to swim in the soft moor water as well as to go hiking and for leisurely walks.

The inland basin in Hard is framed on one side by the open-air swimming pool and the Grüne Damm (Green Dyke) on the other. Children can speed along the top of this dam on their trainer or kids’ bikes while others can throw rocks into the water and the adults can enjoy the view from it.

Where there’s water, there are sailing clubs. Sporer Yachting has assumed the corresponding role in Lochau to offer competent sailing instructors the opportunity to train curious sailing talents.

The Bregenzer Ach’s water travels almost 70 kilometres before it flows into Lake Constance. The closer it gets to the lake, the more quiet spots for sunbathing and wild bathing are to be found among the wooded valleys.

This new rope suspension bridge stretches across the wild-romantic Höhenbachtal gorge and is the highest and longest freely accessible pedestrian suspension bridge in Austria!!!
