The lakes that are the Paspels Seen, a favourite bathing spot for many locals, are to be found in Rankweil. Around 20 hectares of lake were created for recreation here – including swimming and angling.

Crisp bends, a steep descent and 30 minutes of tobogganing fun: the toboggan run in Laterns is perfect for snow bunnies with a need for speed. The ascent starts from the Kühboden very near the ski lifts’ valley station, past Haus Marienruh towards Gapfohlalpe to Gashaus Berghof.

For people of all ages, tobogganing has always been a great way to have fun - and at night it’s even better! Vorarlberg’s longest nighttime toboggan run takes you from Garfrescha right back down into the valley.

The inland basin in Hard is framed on one side by the open-air swimming pool and the Grüne Damm (Green Dyke) on the other. Children can speed along the top of this dam on their trainer or kids’ bikes while others can throw rocks into the water and the adults can enjoy the view from it.

The Bruggerloch is a bathing lake that’s three hectares in size, seven metres deep and conveniently located directly next to the cycle path. But parking spaces are scarce.

The winter season extends from mid December until the beginning of April, with natural snow crunching under your skis and the superb panorama demanding to be looked at!

The untouched deep snow slopes in Gargellen are waiting for you. Snow crystals whirl in the fresh, clear air. The groomed pistes are ready for the first turns of the day! Gargellen is in motion.

The toboggan run from Alpengasthaus Millrütte in Götzis is more leisurely. The beautiful one-kilometre-long route takes tobogganists through picturesque scenery to St. Arbogast.
