There are many favourite places along the shores of Lake Constance and one of them is the bathing area at the Wocherhafen. The harbour has long since gone, but the name has survived. The area today is a popular bathing spot with a parking lot, kiosk and public places to enjoy a barbecue.

Stand-up paddles are available to hire from Surfkultur at Seecamping in Bregenz where it's also possible to do some windsurfing and kayaking. Visitors may either take part in courses and trips or simply hire the equipment they need.

Crisp bends, a steep descent and 30 minutes of tobogganing fun: the toboggan run in Laterns is perfect for snow bunnies with a need for speed. The ascent starts from the Kühboden very near the ski lifts’ valley station, past Haus Marienruh towards Gapfohlalpe to Gashaus Berghof.

Rohrspitz is part of the Rhine Delta’s nature reserve and is therefore the ideal location for long walks or bike trips with places to stop for a quick refreshing dip in Lake Constance. The 300-metre long beach is a special attraction for families.

The Jannersee lake is surrounded by green fields and trees in the marsh that is the Lauteracher Ried. That's why people call it ‘Riedsee’ and it’s also the perfect place for an escape from the city into the countryside.

Where there’s water, there are sailing clubs. Sporer Yachting has assumed the corresponding role in Lochau to offer competent sailing instructors the opportunity to train curious sailing talents.

Boat Hire in Hard is great for unlimited bathing fun. Pedal boats as well as motor and electric boats are available for hire. It’s one way of enjoying the lake a little differently.

The Old Rhine meanders along the border with Switzerland into Lake Constance. The nature landscape of the Old Rhein promises an enjoyable leisure program for everybody. You may have walks in the evening or a bike ride along the Rhein. There are also barbecue spots where you can spend your time.

Not only skiers love the Bödele, tobogganists are also magically drawn there. Ascending the mountain with the toboggan in tow: the toboggan run is two kilometres long; the lower part has bends and is sometimes steep.

The Bruggerloch is a bathing lake that’s three hectares in size, seven metres deep and conveniently located directly next to the cycle path. But parking spaces are scarce.
