Description & Infos

Treat Your Feet to a Cold Bath

Walking through cold water was recommended by Pastor Kneipp in the 19th Century for general strengthening of the body’s immune system. However before running in, your legs should already be warm - for example, by running or gymnastics or especially after hiking.

  • Near Football Pitch- Bürserberg

Brief Instruction for Kneipp Beginners

With each step, the leg is completely lifted out of the water like a Stork and with the toes bent slightly downwards. Then brush the water off your legs with your hands.

The duration of the treadling must first be limited to 10 - 20 seconds, until a slight feeling of pain is felt - later the onset of pain will take longer perhaps 30 - 60 seconds.
