The Kühne family has been running the agricultural estate in Meiningen for several centuries. It was always characterized by strong personalities who pursued their interests consistently and conscientiously. One such person was a dominant lady named Elisabeth, to whom the farm owes the house name "Lisilis".
Organic - with body & soul
Working biologically means, among other things, more manual work and therefore a lot of time. We consider ourselves very lucky to be able to rely on our family for this. Thus, in addition to our own 4 children, some of our 8 siblings and their families are also involved in the farm activities.
Guided Tours for children
It is also a special concern of ours to give children and young people an insight into everyday farming life.
We want to show what it means to practice modern, organic farming and to reawaken an awareness of the value of food.
For this reason, we offer guided tours for interested school classes within the framework of "School on the Farm", where they can learn all there is to know about the farm and experience agriculture at first hand.
