Located in the heart of the Vorarlberg Rhine Valley at the edge of the "Rankweiler Weitrieds" plain, the 18 holes of the Montfort golf club in Rankweil are very conveniently placed and easily accessible.
Playing on this course is quite a challenge for golfers, regardless of ability. The tee shots on the first nine holes have to be played very precisely whereas, due to the open landscape, the second nine require relatively long drives in order to reach the green in question. The greens are closely guarded by strategically placed bunkers, the shape of which requires them to be negotiated with care and forethought.
