Fancy a trip into space? Under the dome of the Bodensee Planetarium, comfortable armchairs invite you to take a virtual journey through the night sky. The star projector allows you to view the night sky from anywhere on Earth at any time. The ZEISS Powerdome VELVET zooms you directly onto the moon and takes you on an exciting journey far into infinite space. The entire dome of the planetarium is a 360° screen on which changing, fascinating multimedia shows are shown.
Cool and air-conditioned in summer - exciting bad weather programme for the whole year.
A visit to the observatory is also a very special experience: expert guides accompany the nightly view of the moon, the planets, star clusters, gas nebulae and strange galaxies - or even the sun during the day. Thanks to powerful telescopes, the sky is within reach. When the sky is overcast, there is an interesting alternative programme in the planetarium dome.
