The manageable ski area offers stress-free winter fun all winter long. Free travel on the slopes, fast progress on the lifts and the varied offer at moderate prices make Laterns a real pleasure for families.

With a total area of 1,400 m², the "Alvierbad" natural bathing lake in Brand is fed with pure drinking water. A regeneration area featuring many thousands of different water plants cleanses and filters the water organically to ensure a pristine environment.

Located in the rock massif behind the traditional “Gasthof Post”, the Vorarlberg Salt Grotto is accessible to both guests of the stylish hotel and non-residents. Constructed using 44 tons of Himalaya salt, it is the largest artificial salt grotto in Europe.

An Alpine jewel

The Laguz-Alpe is located in a small side valley southwest of the Großes Walsertal (not to be confused with the better-known Kleines Walsertal!). This destination is interesting as a detour on the trip over the Faschina-Joch or as an independent, small tour.

A special feature of the Biosphärenpark Großes Walsertal is the extraordinary variety of plants on the "Hahnenkopf" in Faschina, which have developed due to the geological conditions in this area.

NEW: Since summer 2019 Brand has offered a "BRAND NEW" climbing park. The "Kellaegg" climbing park is approx. 80m long and extends some 60 metres in altitude. Standard of difficulty: C

Visit the barefoot trail on the inner Parpfienz Alpe in Brand. The starting point is accessible in just a few minutes with the Dorfbahn cable car. From the top station simply walk (still wearing your shoes) towards the Innere Parpfienz Alpe.

Tucked away in the hills of the Klostertal the Alm Water Park is the fun place to go in summer. The natural bathing lake lies at the heart of the complex, which was newly built in 2014.
