Ausflugsziele in Vorarlberg

The Spullersee is an originally natural high mountain lake in Vorarlberg. It was dammed up between 1919 and 1925 by the Austrian Federal Railways on the occasion of the electrification of the Arlberg Railway and has since been used for energy generation.

The Brandnertal Bike Park offers downhill biking of all standards, from the easy, flowing Freeride route right up to the competition level Downhill run.  

Tucked away in the hills of the Klostertal the Alm Water Park is the fun place to go in summer. The natural bathing lake lies at the heart of the complex, which was newly built in 2014.

Over the millennia the water in the mountain streams has carved out a series of breathtaking gullies. The sport of canyoning permits these canyons to be observed from a unique perspective.

A unique experience for young and old alike.

Alp Stafel is located at 1,540 m above sea level and can be reached in about 30 minutes on foot from the Faschina car park. Here you can buy mountain cheese as well as milk and fresh alpine butter.

The new Nature Discovery Trail introduces families to a host of new discoveries, experiences and natural wonders. Enjoy spending time together in some of the loveliest scenery the region has to offer: the beautiful natural countryside of the Brandnertal.

A special feature of the Biosphärenpark Großes Walsertal is the extraordinary variety of plants on the "Hahnenkopf" in Faschina, which have developed due to the geological conditions in this area.

The Great Walser Valley can officially call itself a biosphere park, which indicates a high quality of life. For centuries, however, the population had to solve manifold problems in order to exist at all.
