Ausflugsziele in Vorarlberg

A special feature of the Biosphärenpark Großes Walsertal is the extraordinary variety of plants on the "Hahnenkopf" in Faschina, which have developed due to the geological conditions in this area.

Over the millennia the water in the mountain streams has carved out a series of breathtaking gullies. The sport of canyoning permits these canyons to be observed from a unique perspective.

The Laguz-Alpe is located in a small side valley southwest of the Großes Walsertal (not to be confused with the better-known Kleines Walsertal!). This destination is interesting as a detour on the trip over the Faschina-Joch or as an independent, small tour.

The Brandnertal Bike Park offers downhill biking of all standards, from the easy, flowing Freeride route right up to the competition level Downhill run.  

A real challenge for tightrope walkers and budding climbers

The well-presented Brunnenfeld mini golf course provides fun and entertainment for young and old alike. And at dusk the spotlights come on, so you don’t need to stop playing when it gets dark!

Bärenland (The Land of Bears) on the family-friendly fun-filled Sonnenkopf mountain in the Klostertal is every little adventurer’s dream.

Alp Stafel is located at 1,540 m above sea level and can be reached in about 30 minutes on foot from the Faschina car park. Here you can buy mountain cheese as well as milk and fresh alpine butter.
