Treat Your Feet to a Cold Bath

The mountain lake can be comfortably reached on foot from the Fontanella Säge bus stop in about 30 minutes. The slightly ascending and descending, low-traffic, asphalted road (access by car only permitted for residents) leads past the houses of Garlitt and on to the Seewaldseetobel.

The manageable ski area offers stress-free winter fun all winter long. Free travel on the slopes, fast progress on the lifts and the varied offer at moderate prices make Laterns a real pleasure for families.

The Laguz-Alpe is located in a small side valley southwest of the Großes Walsertal (not to be confused with the better-known Kleines Walsertal!). This destination is interesting as a detour on the trip over the Faschina-Joch or as an independent, small tour.

A natural monument in Klostertal

The Mason Waterfall - a natural monument in Braz in Klostertal - has a drop height of 80 metres. The waterfall is fed by the Masonbach spring, which rises about 300 metres behind the waterfall on the Masonalpe.

NEW: Since summer 2019 Brand has offered a "BRAND NEW" climbing park. The "Kellaegg" climbing park is approx. 80m long and extends some 60 metres in altitude. Standard of difficulty: C

A special feature of the Biosphärenpark Großes Walsertal is the extraordinary variety of plants on the "Hahnenkopf" in Faschina, which have developed due to the geological conditions in this area.

Visit the barefoot trail on the inner Parpfienz Alpe in Brand. The starting point is accessible in just a few minutes with the Dorfbahn cable car. From the top station simply walk (still wearing your shoes) towards the Innere Parpfienz Alpe.
