Alp Stafel is located at 1,540 m above sea level and can be reached in about 30 minutes on foot from the Faschina car park. Here you can buy mountain cheese as well as milk and fresh alpine butter.

14 state-of-the-art cable cars and ski lifts, plus 55 km of top quality ski runs through stunning mountain scenery ensure an unrivalled winter experience. Snow-making equipment on 80% of the runs guarantees more than enough of the white stuff.

The mountain lake can be comfortably reached on foot from the Fontanella Säge bus stop in about 30 minutes. The slightly ascending and descending, low-traffic, asphalted road (access by car only permitted for residents) leads past the houses of Garlitt and on to the Seewaldseetobel.

An Alpine jewel

The Spullersee is an originally natural high mountain lake in Vorarlberg. It was dammed up between 1919 and 1925 by the Austrian Federal Railways on the occasion of the electrification of the Arlberg Railway and has since been used for energy generation.

The Laguz-Alpe is located in a small side valley southwest of the Großes Walsertal (not to be confused with the better-known Kleines Walsertal!). This destination is interesting as a detour on the trip over the Faschina-Joch or as an independent, small tour.

Over the millennia the water in the mountain streams has carved out a series of breathtaking gullies. The sport of canyoning permits these canyons to be observed from a unique perspective.

The manageable ski area offers stress-free winter fun all winter long. Free travel on the slopes, fast progress on the lifts and the varied offer at moderate prices make Laterns a real pleasure for families.

Just below St. Gerold priory the contemplation and meditation trail winds its way past a series of carefully designed woodland pools through the stillness of the forest.
