Alp Stafel is located at 1,540 m above sea level and can be reached in about 30 minutes on foot from the Faschina car park. Here you can buy mountain cheese as well as milk and fresh alpine butter.

Just below St. Gerold priory the contemplation and meditation trail winds its way past a series of carefully designed woodland pools through the stillness of the forest.

The Laguz-Alpe is located in a small side valley southwest of the Großes Walsertal (not to be confused with the better-known Kleines Walsertal!). This destination is interesting as a detour on the trip over the Faschina-Joch or as an independent, small tour.
