Along a shallow side stream of the Mühlbach near the Markt kindergarten is the water play garden with a public, green open space.

Peace and relaxation at Bregenz Lido

Hans Bäumler’s unique private collection encompasses over 100 masterpieces from artists as varied as Spitzweg, Waldmüller Monet, Renoir, Gauguin and Picasso; 130 years of art history presented in a pattern and with a compactness seldom found elsewhere.

This museum houses a permanent collection of works by Vorarlberg artists since the 17th century, and also organises special exhibitions by leading figures in Vorarlberg art history.  

 

Swimming fun in the Walgaubad

If you take Watzenegg as your starting point and hike in the direction of Palmern, you will reach the Schwende Alp after a 40-minute walk. After this moderately difficult tour, you stand at 910 metres above sea level above Dornbirn and are rewarded for the ascent not only with the view.
