A natural monument in Klostertal

The Mason Waterfall - a natural monument in Braz in Klostertal - has a drop height of 80 metres. The waterfall is fed by the Masonbach spring, which rises about 300 metres behind the waterfall on the Masonalpe.

Visit the barefoot trail on the inner Parpfienz Alpe in Brand. The starting point is accessible in just a few minutes with the Dorfbahn cable car. From the top station simply walk (still wearing your shoes) towards the Innere Parpfienz Alpe.

The Great Walser Valley can officially call itself a biosphere park, which indicates a high quality of life. For centuries, however, the population had to solve manifold problems in order to exist at all.

The Laguz-Alpe is located in a small side valley southwest of the Großes Walsertal (not to be confused with the better-known Kleines Walsertal!). This destination is interesting as a detour on the trip over the Faschina-Joch or as an independent, small tour.

The Spullersee is an originally natural high mountain lake in Vorarlberg. It was dammed up between 1919 and 1925 by the Austrian Federal Railways on the occasion of the electrification of the Arlberg Railway and has since been used for energy generation.

Among the highlights of the trail are a 3-year-old elm tree, a barbeque area with hammocks, a viewing window, a suspension bridge, an echo chamber hut, fascinating facts about hunting and the local fauna, numerous information boards  and a log cabin which you can build you

Tucked away in the hills of the Klostertal the Alm Water Park is the fun place to go in summer. The natural bathing lake lies at the heart of the complex, which was newly built in 2014.
