The Egg Museum was founded as a local history museum in 1904. It is the oldest valley museum in the state of Vorarlberg. In 1988 it was reopened after several years of storage of the inventory in the old elementary school. The collection focuses on the Bregenzerwald region.

The Vorarlberg World of Museums combines seven museums under one roof.

The symbol of the city of Bregenz, the Martin’s Tower offers not only fabulous panoramic views of the mountains, town and lake but also, thanks to the historical exhibition it contains, a deep insight into the city’s fascinating history.

The Montafon mining museum in Silbertal is an outstanding example of family-friendly history education. All age groups can experience the exciting world of mining in this exhibition and get to know first-hand the mining ways of life of bygone days.

The attractive mountain village of Schoppernau in the inner Bregenzerwald is the workplace for those local mountain farmers, whose animals graze the valley, the woodland smallholdings and the high alpine pastures.

Saving the regional costume. New ideas from old.You can still see and admire them on Sundays and public holidays, at all kinds of festivals: the ladies of the Bregenzerwald in their amazingly elegant and delightful costumes.

The imposing neo-baroque church building from 1914 with double towers and a mighty dome dominates the townscape and is also called the "Cathedral of the Western Allgäu" because of its size.

Patrick's in Rankweil offers a leisure venue where billiards, snooker or darts can be played. In addition, different tournaments are organised throughout the year. The billiard centre is open daily.
