Several forest paths with a nature trail that are also suitable for prams lead through the Wildpark (Wildlife Park) on the Ardetzenberg in Feldkirch.

It’s enormous, the Üble Schlucht with its steep cliffs, gushing waterfalls and bizarre limestone rock formations through which the River Frutz forges its path.

The Götzner open-air swimming pool in the Riebe has been ‘the place to go’ for a splash in summer for more than 50 years.

The inland basin in Hard is framed on one side by the open-air swimming pool and the Grüne Damm (Green Dyke) on the other. Children can speed along the top of this dam on their trainer or kids’ bikes while others can throw rocks into the water and the adults can enjoy the view from it.

What’s special about the Walgaubad swimming baths is the 900-square-metre adventure pool with wave ball, the bay with swings and air bubbling up from the bottom, the large water hedgehog and the flow channel.

The zoo of the firm of Doppelmayr in Wolfurt has been home to more than 400 animals from more than 70 species since 1963. The family-friendly facility is open all year round and visitors may enjoy an approximately hour-long walk there for free.

It’s off to the Freibad Frutzau open-air swimming baths when the temperatures start climbing and it gets really hot. Guests may expect everything they could wish for from a generally enjoyable day at the baths – both in the cool water and on land.

The "Schollamoos" is located in the immediate vicinity of the centre of Alberschwende. In the past, peat was extracted from this moor. Today, a well-maintained walking path leads through the birch forests and the moor area.
