The lakes that are the Paspels Seen, a favourite bathing spot for many locals, are to be found in Rankweil. Around 20 hectares of lake were created for recreation here – including swimming and angling.

Come rain or snow, the Bregenz lakeside indoor pool provides a warm friendly place for swimming and splashing around. The protected area for children, with a waterchute and paddling pool, is the perfect place for the very youngest guests to play.

There are many favourite places along the shores of Lake Constance and one of them is the bathing area at the Wocherhafen. The harbour has long since gone, but the name has survived. The area today is a popular bathing spot with a parking lot, kiosk and public places to enjoy a barbecue.

The Parkbad open-air swimming baths stands for superlative bathing fun: 10-metre diving tower, 70-metre slide and 50-metre sports pool. Surrounded by shady areas, sunbathing lawn and a variety of sports, including football, volleyball, table football and table tennis.

The Götzner open-air swimming pool in the Riebe has been ‘the place to go’ for a splash in summer for more than 50 years.

Located in the rock massif behind the traditional “Gasthof Post”, the Vorarlberg Salt Grotto is accessible to both guests of the stylish hotel and non-residents. Constructed using 44 tons of Himalaya salt, it is the largest artificial salt grotto in Europe.

The Lochauer Strandbad (public bathing beach) is one of the most beautiful places to swim at Lake Constance. The building was designed by the architects Innauer and Matt in a modern timber construction and was completed in 2020.

Rohrspitz is part of the Rhine Delta’s nature reserve and is therefore the ideal location for long walks or bike trips with places to stop for a quick refreshing dip in Lake Constance. The 300-metre long beach is a special attraction for families.
