The widely known and popular Sonnenkopf ski resort is located at the foot of the famous Arlberg.

The untouched deep snow slopes in Gargellen are waiting for you. Snow crystals whirl in the fresh, clear air. The groomed pistes are ready for the first turns of the day! Gargellen is in motion.

The municipalities of Zwischenwasser, Sulz, Röthis and Rankweil offer an inexpensive opportunity to learn how to ski in the immediate vicinity with the Furx ski lifts. At two practice lifts, budding skiers can practise in peace, while advanced skiers can use the slopes at the T-bar lift.

The altitude difference of 1100 m on the north side of the mountain and the 500 m on the south side give the Niedere the best conditions for variant skiing.

This is a place where excellent conditions for skiing can be expected: with 109 kilometres of ski runs and 29 ski lifts and cable cars Mellau Damüls Faschina is the largest ski area in the Bregenzerwald.

The winter season extends from mid December until the beginning of April, with natural snow crunching under your skis and the superb panorama demanding to be looked at!
