Where would you find a better place for a ski museum than in the snowiest village in the world? Enough said! The exhibition in the rectory encompasses 130 years of Vorarlberg skiing history as well as the history of ski racing in Vorarlberg.

The rediscovery of the Nibelungenlied’s C and A manuscripts at Hohenems Palace in 1755 and 1779, respectively, marked the starting point of its renaissance and rapid establishment as the German national epic.

Take a stroll through 300 years of hat fashion and discover familiar, interesting and curious facts about headwear. The hands-on stations invite you to try things out and marvel.

Just below St. Gerold priory the contemplation and meditation trail winds its way past a series of carefully designed woodland pools through the stillness of the forest.
