Ausflugsziele in Vorarlberg

Hopfengut No20 is located above the hills of the hop town of Tettnang and combines hop cultivation, brewery, museum, shop and restaurant under one roof.

The Bludenz town archivist Alfons Leuprecht (1867-1940) started a collection of historical, folkloristic and natural history objects related to Bludenz even before the First World War.

The Klostertal Museum in Wald am Arlberg opened in 1994 and is housed in the former "Thöny-Hof". The eventful history of the estate can be traced back to its construction around the middle of the 17th century. The farm was inhabited and farmed until 1959.

With the Skyspace Lech by the internationally renowned artist James Turrell, the Arlberg receives a work of art that invites to a unique experience of the perception of light and space.

Basking in the light of Lake Constance, the Bregenz Art Gallery (Kunsthaus) is Vorarlberg’s modern art Mecca.

High above Lake Constance rises "The Meersburg", the landmark of the region. The old Meersburg, the new Meersburg Castle and the excellently preserved town as well as the vineyards around the town make the visit a special experience.

The Angelika Kauffmann Museum in Schwarzenberg is a typical Bregenzerwald house from the 16th century with modern showrooms.

The Vorarlberg Regional Museum – now known as the Vorarlberg Museum – was founded in 1857, making it one of the oldest museums in the Lake Constance area. Its collections are based on specifically Vorarlberg-orientated themes, whilst retaining national and international links where relevant.
