„More realistic than a live opera” this entry in our visitors’ book sums up the philosophy of Lindau’s puppet theatre. When the audience forget that they are “only” viewing puppets then we have reached our goal.

The display collection of the "Walsermuseum" is located in the fire station and houses the extensive collection of the Heimatpflege- und Museumsverein Lech-Tannberg.

The Montafon Tourism Museum in Gaschurn is located in an old early fair house and has existed since 1992. For 17 years, the history of tourism was presented here, but since 2009 the house has been reoriented.

A women's museum? And one in a rural location? The Fraunemuseum Hittisau in the Bregenzerwald (Austria) shows that both are possible – and have been for over twenty years now. It was the initiative of Elisabeth Stöckler that brought about the founding of the museum in 2000.
