Ausflugsziele in Vorarlberg

The museum of local history in Alberschwende is spread over two locations. The show in the Arzthaus offers insights into the rural way of life and living culture of the 18th and 19th centuries. One focal point is dedicated to the career "From flax to linen".

HIGHMATRAUSCH is Vorarlberg's trampoline and action park, right in the middle of Dornbirn. On almost 3,000 m2 there is pure sport, fun and action 365 days a year! For the very young to the young at heart, there is something for everyone.

The only planetarium on Lake Constance

The oldest parts of the building originate from the 15th century and the long corridors of the upper floors give us an idea of the architecture of the late Middle Ages. The urban flair of the building is the result of the boom of the mining period.

The Natural History Museum invites visitors to explore the regional fauna and minerals up close.

For half a century, the equipment of the shoemaker workshop of Karl Nachbauer (grandfather of the Schubertiade’s managing director Gerd Nachbauer) had been stowed away. Now it is on display in a small shoemaker museum, which takes up two rooms at Marktstraße 15.

The Vorarlberg World of Museums combines seven museums under one roof.

Patrick's in Rankweil offers a leisure venue where billiards, snooker or darts can be played. In addition, different tournaments are organised throughout the year. The billiard centre is open daily.

The Montafon Tourism Museum in Gaschurn is located in an old early fair house and has existed since 1992. For 17 years, the history of tourism was presented here, but since 2009 the house has been reoriented.

The Steinblock bouldering hall in Dornbirn opened on 1 August. Bouldering - climbing at jumping height without a rope, but on thick mats - has become increasingly popular in recent years.
