Snow, sun and families are getting together at the Sonnenkopf skiing area!

The widely known and popular Sonnenkopf ski resort is located at the foot of the famous Arlberg.

The former residence of the prince-bishops of Constance is particularly striking for its picturesque location on the steep slope high above the shores of Lake Constance. From the terrace there is a magnificent view of the panorama of the Alps - an almost Mediterranean flair can be felt here.

Elisabeth Schwarzkopf ranks among the most important singers of the 20th century. Luckily, her extraordinary career as an opera and concert performer is well documented through a great number of recordings, which set standards until the present day.

The Angelika Kauffmann Museum in Schwarzenberg is a typical Bregenzerwald house from the 16th century with modern showrooms.

Located well away from the large overcrowdsed ski areas, Warth-Schröcken, with its unrivalled snow record and interesting features, offers a secret haven for families and sports skiers alike.

The oldest parts of the building originate from the 15th century and the long corridors of the upper floors give us an idea of the architecture of the late Middle Ages. The urban flair of the building is the result of the boom of the mining period.

14 state-of-the-art cable cars and ski lifts, plus 55 km of top quality ski runs through stunning mountain scenery ensure an unrivalled winter experience. Snow-making equipment on 80% of the runs guarantees more than enough of the white stuff.

The rediscovery of the Nibelungenlied’s C and A manuscripts at Hohenems Palace in 1755 and 1779, respectively, marked the starting point of its renaissance and rapid establishment as the German national epic.

The Montafon Tourism Museum in Gaschurn is located in an old early fair house and has existed since 1992. For 17 years, the history of tourism was presented here, but since 2009 the house has been reoriented.
