The Montafon Tourism Museum in Gaschurn is located in an old early fair house and has existed since 1992. For 17 years, the history of tourism was presented here, but since 2009 the house has been reoriented.

Hopfengut No20 is located above the hills of the hop town of Tettnang and combines hop cultivation, brewery, museum, shop and restaurant under one roof.

A women's museum? And one in a rural location? The Fraunemuseum Hittisau in the Bregenzerwald (Austria) shows that both are possible – and have been for over twenty years now. It was the initiative of Elisabeth Stöckler that brought about the founding of the museum in 2000.
