The Great Walser Valley can officially call itself a biosphere park, which indicates a high quality of life. For centuries, however, the population had to solve manifold problems in order to exist at all.

The Montafon Tourism Museum in Gaschurn is located in an old early fair house and has existed since 1992. For 17 years, the history of tourism was presented here, but since 2009 the house has been reoriented.

This museum is dedicated to Vorarlberg’s best known writer and poet who lived in the 19th century.

The Lech Museum operates its facility as a house for culture, history and language with a supra-regional appeal in a contemporary manner and refers to socially relevant contemporary issues in its special exhibitions and publications.

The Zeppelin is a pioneer of airship travel and over the years has become a real cult object.
