The Bregenzerwald Cheese Centre is the central marketplace for the entire selection of local cheeses produced in the Bregenzerwald region. Its aim is to provide a direct outlet, open 365 days a year, where locals and guests alike can taste and buy the cheeses.

The attractive mountain village of Schoppernau in the inner Bregenzerwald is the workplace for those local mountain farmers, whose animals graze the valley, the woodland smallholdings and the high alpine pastures.

The Kühne family has been running the agricultural estate in Meiningen for several centuries. It was always characterized by strong personalities who pursued their interests consistently and conscientiously.

Since its formation in 1999, the Bregenzerwald Werkraum has really created a platform for itself: work produced in the Werkraum is recognised worldwide, and its talented and innovative craftsmen and women are in great demand, both at home and abroad.
