Ausflugsziele in Vorarlberg

The zoo of the firm of Doppelmayr in Wolfurt has been home to more than 400 animals from more than 70 species since 1963. The family-friendly facility is open all year round and visitors may enjoy an approximately hour-long walk there for free.

The inland basin in Hard is framed on one side by the open-air swimming pool and the Grüne Damm (Green Dyke) on the other. Children can speed along the top of this dam on their trainer or kids’ bikes while others can throw rocks into the water and the adults can enjoy the view from it.

The Rappenloch and Alploch gorges are among the largest gorges in Central Europe.

Ibexes clamber precariously over the rocks, the grunting of wild boars is to be heard not far away while a marmot whistles in the distance. The mouflon ram raises its curved horns, red deer, hares, goats and pot-bellied pigs continue to feed undisturbed.

The "Allmeinde Commongrounds" is an independent cultural initiative founded at the turn of the millennium by Gerold and Katia Schneider, which is dedicated to a special concern: the shaping of the community from the spirit of community. The name refers to the "Allme(i)nde", i.e.

In the middle of nature, in the last house on the street, in a farm.

This is where the Atelier LaMarie came into being and with it a workspace, an exhibition space and a small home for art and creativity.

Daniel Swarovski, who founded his cut crystal company in Wattens, Tyrol, in 1895, had the vision from the very beginning to regard crystal not only as a material, but also as an inspiration.

Several forest paths with a nature trail that are also suitable for prams lead through the Wildpark (Wildlife Park) on the Ardetzenberg in Feldkirch.

This new rope suspension bridge stretches across the wild-romantic Höhenbachtal gorge and is the highest and longest freely accessible pedestrian suspension bridge in Austria!!!
