Our courses in winter include classic skiing for young and old, as well as freeriding and ski touring.

The untouched deep snow slopes in Gargellen are waiting for you. Snow crystals whirl in the fresh, clear air. The groomed pistes are ready for the first turns of the day! Gargellen is in motion.

Ice-skating on the shores of the lake in Hard – there’s hardly a more beautiful setting to do a few laps around the shiny rink. The panoramic view across the open space is definitely a sight worth seeing. The roof means that skating can continue even when the weather is poor.

This is a place where excellent conditions for skiing can be expected: with 109 kilometres of ski runs and 29 ski lifts and cable cars Mellau Damüls Faschina is the largest ski area in the Bregenzerwald.

Even experienced practitioners will be thrilled by its special location as the course has chosen no less a garden than that of the historic Schattenburg Castle. A total of 18 different holes now challenge visitors with pyramids, bumps, loops and labyrinths in the castle gardens.

The municipalities of Zwischenwasser, Sulz, Röthis and Rankweil offer an inexpensive opportunity to learn how to ski in the immediate vicinity with the Furx ski lifts. At two practice lifts, budding skiers can practise in peace, while advanced skiers can use the slopes at the T-bar lift.

14 state-of-the-art cable cars and ski lifts, plus 55 km of top quality ski runs through stunning mountain scenery ensure an unrivalled winter experience. Snow-making equipment on 80% of the runs guarantees more than enough of the white stuff.

The altitude difference of 1100 m on the north side of the mountain and the 500 m on the south side give the Niedere the best conditions for variant skiing.

The 4-star Hotel Jagdhaus Monzabon in Lech am Arlberg is the first and only hotel with its own ice skating rink in all of Europe. Over 300 m² of ice surface are available to our hotel guests and external visitors for ice skating and curling.
