Ausflugsziele in Vorarlberg

A beautiful natural lake in the middle of the plant protection area Hochtannberg in the community of Schröcken.

Around 20 hectares of lake areas were created through gravel dredging. These lakes have become a sought-after recreational area. The clean groundwater lying in a gravel basin is used for fishing and bathing. The lake can largely be walked around.

Daniel Swarovski, who founded his cut crystal company in Wattens, Tyrol, in 1895, had the vision from the very beginning to regard crystal not only as a material, but also as an inspiration.

The mountain lake can be comfortably reached on foot from the Fontanella Säge bus stop in about 30 minutes. The slightly ascending and descending, low-traffic, asphalted road (access by car only permitted for residents) leads past the houses of Garlitt and on to the Seewaldseetobel.

With a total area of 1,400 m², the "Alvierbad" natural bathing lake in Brand is fed with pure drinking water. A regeneration area featuring many thousands of different water plants cleanses and filters the water organically to ensure a pristine environment.

Lake Constance has a lot to offer. Beautiful nature, numerous sights and idyllic places invite you to linger. Whether you want to visit Lake Constance with your family, with friends, in summer or in winter, there is always something to discover.

A belt of moorland with rare flora runs for several kilometres across the entire mountain ridge at an altitude of 1,000 metres to the north of the village of Sulzberg.

An Alpine jewel

Located directly on the Harder Binnenbecken, training and rental for windsurfing and Stand Up Paddling (SUP) are offered. Canoes and kayaks can also be rented. The light winds at Lake Constance are especially ideal for beginners.
