Around 20 hectares of lake areas were created through gravel dredging. These lakes have become a sought-after recreational area. The clean groundwater lying in a gravel basin is used for fishing and bathing. The lake can largely be walked around.

The Waldschwimmbad Lech is the ideal place to relax and retreat for the hot days in the Lech mountain summer.
