The untouched deep snow slopes in Gargellen are waiting for you. Snow crystals whirl in the fresh, clear air. The groomed pistes are ready for the first turns of the day! Gargellen is in motion.

The altitude difference of 1100 m on the north side of the mountain and the 500 m on the south side give the Niedere the best conditions for variant skiing.

The lakes that are the Paspels Seen, a favourite bathing spot for many locals, are to be found in Rankweil. Around 20 hectares of lake were created for recreation here – including swimming and angling.

The Schwarzenberg trail is perfect for families, since it runs mostly on wide forest trails. The view that is being offered to you includes the entire ridge area such as the "Rheintal". Start at the trail parking lot in Schuttannen and then follow the yellow signs.

Winter on the Uga natural toboggan run in Damüls is great fun for all the family.  

The manageable ski area offers stress-free winter fun all winter long. Free travel on the slopes, fast progress on the lifts and the varied offer at moderate prices make Laterns a real pleasure for families.

This is a place where excellent conditions for skiing can be expected: with 109 kilometres of ski runs and 29 ski lifts and cable cars Mellau Damüls Faschina is the largest ski area in the Bregenzerwald.

Located well away from the large overcrowdsed ski areas, Warth-Schröcken, with its unrivalled snow record and interesting features, offers a secret haven for families and sports skiers alike.
